sadie_sysNicole here. I'm posting this from Dreamwidth's mobile. I really wish they had an Android app, but there is something satisfyingly minimalist about the mobile page.
So I went back and looked at our most recent entry before today. A whole year! The attempts to reform the Lgbt center didn't go super well. They made some small changes and then all the other activists gave up around the same time I got a day job.
Last winter I was running an alt trans support group but too many people stopped coming and our venue sucked. Then I got a day job and didn't have the energy for it anyway.
Around the same time, my partner RC told me that she wanted to live alone. I took it hard at first but our relationship is as strong as ever.
Right now I'm living with my other partner SB and her wife in their big house. It's good in a lot of ways, and I don't really have to pay rent, but I still might move out on my own soon. Living in a house like this reminds me of my childhood a little too much.
My trans bike group was another victim of my day job. Also a victim of me crashing my old bicycle on my commute to work. I was fine but I had to borrow money to buy a new bicycle.
I haven't worked on PICO-8 stuff since last winter. But I will definitely be getting back into it. I started messing around with Raspberry Pi and Arduino.
My partner RC and I went to Montreal! It was my first international vacation! It was amazing! I never would have been able to go if I didn't have a job.
Just yesterday SJ ran the first session of a fantasy mecha tabletop RPG that we had been working on for about a month. It went well.
